How does it work?
Are you visiting Hans & Grietje for the first time and want to know how we operate? We are happy to give you a virtual tour so that you won’t be caught off guard. Here you will find all the information you need for a visit to our fairytale domain.
Welcome to Hans & Grietje! We open our doors daily from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM (with our kitchen closing at 8:00 PM). Reserving a table includes access to our play park. Please note: playing is not possible without a reservation.
Important Details
We recommend making a reservation in advance to avoid disappointment, especially during weekends, holidays, and festive days. We advise reserving at least one week in advance.
- Provide the total number of people, including children.
- By default, you reserve the table indoors or outdoors for two hours; afterward, the table will be available for other guests.
- You can only make one reservation per day. Multiple reservations are often automatically canceled. We reserve the right to cancel one reservation on the day itself if necessary.
- The reserved table is available at the agreed time, unfortunately not earlier.
Our Play Area
- You have the opportunity to arrive one hour early to start playing on our grounds. Walking the Breadcrumb Trail is always possible.
- On weekdays we open at 11:00 AM and on Sunday at 10:00 AM.
- Access to our grounds is only possible with a valid reservation.
- Bringing your own food and drinks is not allowed.
- If the crowd allows, you can pick up food and/or drinks earlier than the reserved time.
- For an indoor reservation, you are required to have a meal, with a minimum expenditure of €15 per person.

For groups of 15 to 20 people, specific conditions apply for reservations at Hans & Grietje:
- When making the reservation, you must make a deposit of €10.00 per person. Additionally, we charge €1.75 administration costs. This deposit will be settled on the day itself.
- You will receive a confirmation as soon as you make the reservation.
- The deposit of €10.00 per person also counts as the minimum expenditure during the visit.
- For group reservations, it is not possible to pay separately. We request the group to pay together.
For groups of 21 or more people, specific procedures and conditions apply at Hans & Grietje:
- Your reservation will first be treated and assessed as a request.
- You must make a deposit of €10.00 per person, plus €1.75 administration costs. This deposit will be settled on the day of your visit.
- Please note that the deposit of €10.00 per person also counts as the minimum expenditure during your visit.
- For group reservations, it is not possible to pay separately. We request the group to pay together.

- The reservation costs are €3.50 per person per table, with a minimum of 8 people.
- Payments for groups and deposits are settled on the day itself with the bill.
- Note: the deposit of €3.50 per person per table also counts towards the minimum expenditure of €10.00 per person.
- Refunds are only possible if the reservation is canceled at least 1 day in advance.
- If Hans & Grietje cancels, you will always receive the full amount back.
